MobiliBottanelli came into life at the end of the thirties and was established by Mr. Paolo Bottanelli who opened a furniture construction carpentry . The company grew up in the Fourties and He opened a small exhibition to sold furnishings - sofa - beds etc. In the '50s he decided to open an ironmonger in which he wanted to employ his sons Gianni, Lino and Simone. In addition to the sale of classical ironmonger items, he traded also Berkel slicers sold to the delicatessens throughout the province of Brescia. further to the untimely death of his son Gianni, in 1962, he decided to deal only with the ironmonger and left the furniture industry to his sons . In the early'70s his son simone opened the furniture store, the current company headquarters, in which appeared the first wood and economic stoves, antiques, without losing the passion for Berkels inherited from his father. In 1979 the grandson of the founder took his first step in the company: Bottanelli G. Paolo immediately appeals to antiques and especially to Berkel, at the time still relatively unknown to the general public. Subsequently, the company began to attend at the most prestigious national antiques fairs, with excellent results for the quality' of exhibits and serious offer. G.P.Bottanelli’s headlong dive into vintage Berkel world goes back to the early 90s, when he started to dedicate a lot of time to these wonders. He then set out imports from most parts of the world and has now gained the stature of a leader in this field.
Feel free to come along and choose among a range of ancient and modern furniture, as well as antiquarians objects and charming knick-knacks in our 1000 square meters exhibition centre on three floors. We invite you to discover our showroom located in Capo di Ponte (via Nazionale, 36) where you can admire more than 30 models of ancient Berkel cutters perfectly restored and in working conditions.
